Beautiful Heart is a professional beauty salon located on the stunning turquoise coastline of Jurien Bay in Western Australia offering a range of treatments and beauty products. Priding themselves of their tranquillity and making people feel comfortable, offering high quality products to their clients matching any wallet size has been important to the owner and founder Tarryn Gill.

Since opening the beauty salon in 2014, Beautiful Heart have stocked the organic skincare line La Clinica and have continued to add more PBS brands to their offering as the salon grew.

I was introduced to La Clinica in my late teens with very sensitive and dry skin when I was unable to use any products because of my sensitivity and it became my savour, so it was an obvious choice offering La Clinica to my clients when I was setting up the salon.

Beautiful Heart believe every client should walk out the door both feeling and looking beautiful, which for Beautiful Heart is achieved by going the extra mile for their clients in their treatments and providing them with the best products available.

Her passion for high quality products and customer service has been Tarryn’s recipe for success which in turn supported by her return customers. She has also utilised Marketing On A Platter in order to create exciting promotional activities and increase retail sales proven to be very fruitful. By attending Passion to Profits Tarryn found inspiration to take her business up a notch being a perfect example on what can be achieved when using all resources given. Gill says, “the Passion to Profits event was very inspiring and I took a great deal away from the day.”

In addition to stocking La Clinica, Beautiful Heart are also offering the PBS brands Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, Body Sugaring and Wotnot continuously adding to their treatment menu as products and treatments are being introduced to them by Professional Beauty solutions.

Bella Venere Beauty Boutique is a luxurious salon nestled in the busy Highfields Village Shopping Centre. With four treatment rooms dedicated to pampering their clients, Bella Venere has operated for nine years and continues to grow each year.

The philosophy at Bella Venere is simple – they are all about treating the whole person, inside and out. The team pride themselves on delivering a first-class experience from the minute a client enters the salon until the moment they leave. The salon is also beautifully presented, with the warm colours and tones imbued throughout the salon complementing the friendly feeling the team indulge their clients with.

Like many, Bella Venere first stocked Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics before going on to add Sunescape, La Clinica, Cherry Blooms and Wotnot to their salon offering.

“We require products that actually deliver the results they claim to give. Therefore, Sunescape, Cherry Blooms and Youngblood pretty much sell themselves, because customers know the quality of the products,” said salon owner Sandra Dalziel.

La Clinica was also an obvious addition, “We wanted an organic range to complement our mineral makeup so La Clinica works perfectly.”

Bella Venere have had great success conducting Youngblood 40/40 sessions regularly with clients, allowing them to enjoy the feel of the product and try out new looks that may be out of their normal comfort zone. The team has found that conducting a 4 Minute Makeover with clients at the end of a treatment usually leads into a 40/40 session. Dalziel says,

These sessions create a wonderful rapport with clients, boosts sales and are lot of fun.

With the marketing and training support offered by PBS, in addition to the great range of world-class brands, Bella Venere has continued to go from strength to strength. Dalziel said, “Being on board with PBS gives me a one-stop base, enabling me to service the needs of our clients with products suited to their budget requirements as well as delivering the results they’re looking for.”

Serenity Skin, Nail And Body is a professional, award-winning beauty salon operating for over 11 years in the heart of Wangaratta. Specialising in dermal therapy, beauty & results-driven treatments, Serenity provides a complete range of beauty services, with every treatment of the highest standard.

Serenity first stocked Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics stockist 3 years ago and has since gone on to add more PBS brands to their offering. 

Stocking Youngblood was one of the best decisions we made.

Salon owner Donna Wark explains, "We were looking for a new range of makeup that would complement our skin treatments and Youngblood definitely fitted that criteria and more.” The range quickly became popular amongst clients with the help of promotional make-up days and free 4-minute makeovers being offered.

Having experienced such positive results with Youngblood, Serenity introduced Image Skincare 18 months ago and it soon became a client favourite due to the impressive results it can achieve.

Finally we had found a cosmeceutical range for all skin types that delivers results, from the facial treatments to the home care products.

Part of marketing activities to support this was their ‘Introduction to Image Day’. Wark said, “It is always a risk introducing clients to a new range of products but (Business Development Manager) Amanda made it easy and effortless with the clients putting their trust into the range immediately.”

Not only did Serenity see fantastic retail sales on the day, many clients also booked courses of treatments.

Added most recently to the salon menu, Sunescape has been another great success for Wark and her team. “Sunescape was hugely popular over summer with clients loving that they only needed to leave their spray tan on for 2 hours,” said Wark. The retail range has also been a profitable addition to the salon’s offering, with the gradual tan selling out time and time again.

Congratulations to Blush Boutique for winning April Salon of the Month!

Located in the tranquil Gold Creek, Blush Boutique prides itself on offering a complete experience and full range of services, allowing clients to be beautified from head to toe. The award-winning, fully qualified team of six therapists specialise in makeup artistry, nails, hair styling, skin care, advanced skin treatments and spray tanning.

Having first stocked Youngblood 8 years ago, salon owner Sam Barton has since gone on to add Image Skincare, Sunescape, Wotnot and Cherry Blooms to her salon’s offering, with Dermalux soon to come.

We started with Youngblood and absolutely fell in love. When PBS started Image Skincare distribution it was exactly what our salon was after. We continue to bring on board products from PBS as we know and trust they are the best. We are continually impressed and excited by the results we see, and our clients have never been happier.

As part of their marketing activities, Barton and her team recently held a Youngblood VIP night in which they performed in-depth makeup lessons for clients, resulting in $2000 worth of retail sales on top of the cost of the lessons.

A great bonding experience for staff, the event was also successful in building relationships with makeup clients.

We had a great increase in sales from the night as well as creating loyal longtime Youngblood users.

Blush Boutique continues to flourish, and Barton credits not only her amazing team of therapists but also the assistance from PBS in facilitating this.

“It is extremely hard to find solid time in a busy salon schedule to market and put together campaigns, so ‘Marketing on a Platter’ has been amazing to have access to and continues to help my business grow,” Barton explains, adding, “[Business Development Manager] Rochelle is my business angel; she is so helpful and I love how much she wants to help Blush grow.”

Salon of the Month - Je Suis Femme

A congratulations is due for Je Suis Femme for being our March Salon of the Month! With your dedication to superior products and customer service, it’s no wonder you’ve been in the game for so long.

Located in Western Australia, Je Suis Femme has provided affordable and natural beauty therapy for over 30 years. Their wide range of services includes waxing, facials, massages, and tinting, and the salon stocks only the best mineral makeup and Australian made skin care.

Of the PBS brands, Je Suis Femme currently carries Youngblood, Sunescape, La Clinica For Skin & Body, Cherry Blooms and WotNot. “We have stocked La Clinica for over 10 years and Youngblood for over 5,” says owner Jodee, “which has led us to expand further with the other ranges PBS has to offer.”

The salon decided to stock Youngblood after a hunt for a mineral cosmetic line that would compliment La Clinica For Skin & Body, which is a certified organic skincare range. “We chose Youngblood for its salon-exclusive status,” says Jodee, “and the fact that it can be applied to the skin after any facial treatment, while still letting the skin breathe and repair.

Our clients love the lightweight feel of the foundation and the great coverage it gives.

Continuing with their focus on healthy beauty products, Je Suis Femme chose to stock Sunescape for its natural look, great smell, and flattering green base. With an array of PBS lines in tow, the salon has been able to provide clients with the highest quality of natural and organic ingredients, and can assure their treatments are as gentle and safe as possible.

In addition to caring about the quality of their products, the salon always strives to deliver “110%” to every client. Their impeccable customer service, paired with demos and loyalty programs, has helped the salon establish great, lasting relationships with clients. As per the recommendation of PBS, Je Suis Femme offers a complimentary 4-minute makeover to every facial client, which Jodee says makes the customer more likely to purchase items from the Youngblood range.
