The world has well and truly felt the brunt of Covid-19 over the last 18-months. With third-world, developing countries such as Cambodia, where many families already struggle to survive, are feeling the full impact of the pandemic.

To aid this, PBS is proud to sponsor 5 vulnerable Cambodian girls in rural communities to help provide them with a brighter future. Through this sponsorship, Buth, Chea, Uch, Vannak and Chhorn were supported through the pandemic with education, food for their families and much-needed financial assistance.

Cambodia Charitable Trust

In partnership with Bestow Beauty, the Cambodia Charitable Trust is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to create a brighter future for vulnerable Cambodian children through education.

The Cambodia Charitable Trust’s top priority is to combat the current negative impacts of human trafficking and crushing poverty on vulnerable children by providing them with quality education. To achieve this they are providing education that is FREE to these Cambodian children, especially girls. PBS is the proud sponsor of 5 Cambodian girls - helping to better their lives daily through:

  • A school uniform and essential school stationary,

  • Access to health checks,

  • Food for her and her family, and

  • A monthly contribution to family living costs to cover the loss of the child’s wage. This discourages families from taking children out of school to work.

For as little as $40 a month, you too can sponsor a young Cambodian girl. Learn more here.
