Salons in the Spotlight

‘To kick off the new year (and the new decade!) we wanted to showcase how some of our salons and clinics get social, and share what their day to day salon life looks like. From sharing photos of special deliveries and staff members going mad with masks, to beautiful displays and merchandising, these are some excellent examples of how to keep your customers, clients and followers in the loop and excited about your business on your social channels!

AN INSIDE LOOK

This is a HUGE one! Giving your followers an exclusive “behind the scenes” look into your treatments is a great way to get potential clients excited about what you can offer them and keeps existing clients coming back for more!

MASKING MADNESS

Now, this has to be one of our absolute faves! The team at Face Medispa are mad for Image Skincare’s Insta-worthy masks, and one scroll through their Instagram feed will prove just that! These sorts of photos are an awesome way to keep your profile fun and light amidst informational posts and sharing specials – your followers will love it and will definitely want to try the masks out for themselves!

AROUND THE SALON

Keeping your customers and followers updated with what’s happening around your salon or clinic can be one of the biggest tools in your social content arsenal! Whether you share a photo or video of your Dermalux lighting up a treatment room, or a pic of a staff member reaching for the Bestow Beauty Oil from the top shelf, we promise your followers will love getting a sneak peek into the day-to-day happenings of your business!

MERCHANDISING

You spend so much time perfecting your space, arranging your products to look beautiful and adding unique finishing touches to make it truly special – so of course you should show your followers! Get snapping so you can share pics of your awesome visual merchandising to your social channels!

PACKAGING & DELIVERIES

Nothing beats the arrival of an eagerly-awaited package! And if the wild popularity of Youtube ‘unboxing’ videos are anything to go by, your clients, customers and followers will love seeing it too! Whether it’s a new product arrival or a replenishment of some of your bestsellers, showcasing your stock arrivals builds hype and makes your followers feel like they’re getting an exclusive look at what’s about to hit the shelves before anybody else! How exciting does this photo by the lovely Anna’s Skin & Beauty in Townsville look?!

EVENTS AND VIP NIGHTS

Events and VIP nights are a great way to drive business and make your customers feel like, well – VIPs! But you can also leverage them to create content for your social channels to generate buzz in the lead up to the event, and on the night of the event itself to show your followers all the fun your clients are having! But beware – footage of your latest VIP night shared to Instagram and Facebook will have clients and potential customers begging for you to host another one!

*Thinking about hosting a VIP event but don’t know where to start? Our tailor-made brand-specific VIP event packs can help! Get in touch to find out more.

POST TREATMENT GLOW

The gorgeous Vaia from Vaia Beauty in Sydney loves capturing the beautiful post-treatment glow that her lucky clients leave her salon with after spending some time under the Dermalux! With your client’s consent, of course, sharing the final result of a treatment will give your followers skin envy that will have them calling you straight away to make a booking!
