Launched in 2011 by industry visionaries Mocha Publishing, the Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA’s), combined with the Australian Make-up Artist Awards (AMIA’s), are the trusted national award platform which provide a benchmark of excellence across both specialist and individual categories in beauty and make-up.
The awards were launched due to industry demand and are judged by an independent panel of judges, media, PR and business specialists. With 32 categories including the ABIA Australian Salon Business of the Year large and small and the AMIA Make Up Artist of the Year, today the ABIA’s are seen are the ‘Oscars’ of the beauty industry and the highest accolade in the trade.
Each year we are so thrilled to see so many of our salon partners being recognised at the inaugural event which will be held in Sydney at The Star, on Sunday 29th August 2021, to coincide with the last day of Beauty Expo Australia. This year the we are also proud to be sponsoring the VIC/TAS/SA Salon /Spa of the Year (4 Treatment rooms or less) category at the gala award ceremony which is bound to be one of their biggest events yet, as the ABIA’s will also be celebrating their 10-year anniversary!
