About the role

Working closely with the CEO and our small but dynamic marketing team, we are on the hunt for a Digital Marketing Coordinator/Social Media & Content Creator who will drive the development and execution of all digital and mainstream marketing activities. We need that special someone with a flair for writing engaging and original social content, (you’d probably do a better job of writing this job ad than us, frankly) but who is also skilled and experienced in increasing sales through social channels. With a sparkling personality, our future digital wizard will also find building and maintaining relationships with other companies, influencers and bloggers, a breeze!

Naturally, you’ll be someone who isn’t afraid of going the extra mile and is inspired by working in a fast-paced, but fun and friendly environment. If we say so ourselves, we’re pretty awesome. And with 11 amazing beauty brands under our management, you’ll have no shortage of variety to keep your sharp mind busy.

Our special someone is also organized enough to plan schedules in advance, but flexible enough to implement new time-sensitive content at a moment’s notice. About Professional Beauty Solutions (PBS)

Based near Cronulla Sydney, Professional Beauty Solutions is a rapidly growing, innovative Australian-owned beauty distribution company. Our core target market is salons, spas and clinics but we also manage the consumer social media pages for global beauty brands including Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, Sunescape Tan, Image Skincare + more.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing a social media plan for all brand channels

  • Sourcing imagery and content for social media

  • Daily community monitoring and management of multiple social media accounts

  • Blogger outreach with beauty influencers

  • Collaborating with our design team on newsletters using Mailchimp & Hubpot

  • Drawing sales to our online stores through digital marketing initiatives

  • Generating and analysing monthly reports on our marketing campaign’s performance (social & web)

  • Developing relationships with bloggers, influencers and key media

  • Writing of beauty blog posts and website text


  • 2-4 years digital marketing and social media management experience

  • Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, PR or similar

  • You are up to date with the latest technology advancements and social media trends

  • You’re constantly searching for new, interesting ways to engage our audience and customers online

  • You have an ability to engage with followers and other social media accounts with an informative and on-brand tone of voice

  • You have a broad creative skillset including writing, editing, and general content creation specifically for social media

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Anything from social content and press releases to sales copy!

  • You're proactive and self-starting. You will have the responsibility (and a large degree of autonomy) over digital marketing and social media projects, so you will be able to manage your daily workload and timelines

  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics would be preferable
