Based near beautiful, vibrant Cronulla Beach in Sydney’s south, Professional Beauty Solutions is an innovative, rapidly growing Australian-owned beauty distribution company. Our core target market is salons, spas and clinics, but we also manage the consumer social media pages for a host of on-fleek global beauty brands, including Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, Sunescape Tan, Image Skincare, and loads more!

Working closely with our awesome CEO and General Manager, as well as a small-but-mighty marketing team, this exciting position covers all things marketing and social media, and the star applicant will be responsible for driving the development and execution of all digital and mainstream marketing activities for the business.

With 12 different beauty brands under our management, the ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual - highly organised and able to plan social media schedules in advance, but flexible enough to implement new content at short notice (things change fast around here!). As the voice of multiple brands, you’ll be a copywriting guru with a strong understanding of brand voice and content pillars, and know how to turn social media engagement into sales.

We’re looking for that someone special with a proven talent for writing and creating engaging and original social content, who knows how to increase sales through social channels, and is a boss at building relationships with influencers, bloggers and other businesses. Key tasks and responsibilities will include (but of course, aren’t limited to):

  • Managing the B2B salon marketing calendar with monthly deals and specials.

  • End-to-end management of selected PBS brands social media pages, including social media plans, daily community management, and generating and analysing social media campaign results.

  • Developing revenue-generating relationships with bloggers, influencers and key media publications.

  • Responding to editor callouts, managing PR send outs to trade magazines etc, and maintaining and fostering relationships with beauty editors.

  • The writing of weekly blogs, content articles, website copy and press releases.

  • Efficient management of marketing budgets and coordination of all print and digital advertising for the business.

  • Monthly reporting and analysis of publicity and social media coverage.


  • You have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR or a similar field.

  • You’re obsessed with social media and passionate about keeping up to date with the latest social media trends and technological advancements.

  • You have a proven ability to engage with social media followers and other social media accounts with an informative and on-brand tone of voice.

  • You have a broad creative skillset including, but not limited to, copywriting, proofing, editing, and social media content creation.

  • You have a natural flair for writing and proven experience writing social media copy, sales copy and marketing copy, as well as strong verbal communication skills.

  • You’re passionate about all things beauty and keenly follow the social media landscape of bloggers, influencers, celebrities and models.

  • You have working knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics, as well as experience with paid and organic social (preferred but not essential)

  • You're a proactive self-starter who can work autonomously and confidently manage your (and your team’s) daily workload and project timelines.
